TORQ Back

$149.00

A cordless heated lower-back belt. Same hardware as the TORQ Knee, in a belt.

Strap it around your waist, press start, and get on with your evening. It runs a 15-minute cycle and switches itself off. No app, no account, no subscription.

What's actually in it

  • Heat — three settings: 45 °C, 50 °C and 55 °C, across the whole lower-back panel rather than one hot spot. 55 °C is properly hot to the touch. Start on 45.
  • Light — 660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared LEDs set into the inside face. 850 nm is invisible, so the panel looks dimmer than it is running. Use it with the heat or on its own.
  • Vibration — two motors, spread across the panel, with or without the heat.
  • 15-minute cycle, then it shuts itself off.
  • Cordless. USB-C, same cable as your phone. Slim enough to sit under a work shirt.

Will it fit?

Measure around your waist where your belt sits. The strap goes out to about 135 cm. Centre the panel on the part of your back you want it on, then pull it firm. Snug beats tight: you want contact, not compression.

Over the limit, please don't order it. Email us and we'll tell you straight.

Who it's for

Anyone who lifts, bends or sits in a cab all day. Concreters, brickies, plumbers under sinks, removalists, truck and forklift drivers, nurses and aged-care workers, FIFO crews on long swings, and anyone over forty who still does the work.

Who it isn't for: if something is actually wrong with your back, especially anything new, severe, or with numbness or weakness in it, see a doctor. This isn't that, and we're not going to pretend it is.

Delivery and returns, in plain words

Free shipping worldwide, no minimum spend. Dispatched in 1–2 business days and tracked, and usually 7–12 business days to metro addresses.

What's in the box

  • One TORQ Back belt, a USB-C charging cable and a quick-start card.

Where it comes from

TORQ is Australian-owned and based on the Gold Coast. Our gear is made by our manufacturing partner in Asia and posted direct to you. That is a real part of why it is A$149 and not three or four times that. Queensland is our returns address, not our warehouse, and we will not tell you otherwise.

If something goes wrong

Faulty inside 12 months: send a photo or a short video and we send a replacement. Nothing to post back, no postage to pay. Changed your mind: 30 days, unused and in its original packaging, posted back to our Queensland returns address at your cost, and we refund the product price. Nothing here takes away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

What this is, and what it isn't

TORQ gear applies warmth, light, vibration or air pressure to the part of you it straps to. It is not a medical device, it is not on the ARTG, and we make no claim about what it will do for your body. If something is actually wrong, that is a GP or a physio, not a wrap. Do not use it during pregnancy, with a pacemaker or implanted device, over broken skin, or where you cannot feel warmth normally.

What's in it

The Knee's hardware, in a belt.

Same three heat settings, same LEDs, same two motors. A wider panel and a longer strap.

Heat

Three settings: 45, 50 and 55 °C.

Across the whole lower-back panel rather than one hot spot. It holds the temperature until the timer stops it. 55 °C is properly hot to the touch, so start on 45.

Three settings: 45, 50 and 55 °C.
Light

660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared LEDs.

Set into the inside face of the panel. 850 nm is invisible to the eye, so it always looks dimmer than it's running. Use the light with the heat or on its own.

660 nm red and 850 nm near-infrared LEDs.
Cordless

Charge it Sunday, wear it through the week.

USB-C, the same cable as your phone, and a 15-minute auto shut-off so it stops whether you remember it or not. Slim enough to sit under a work shirt.

Charge it Sunday, wear it through the week.

Fit

Measure before you order. It takes ten seconds.

Where to measure

Around your waist where your belt sits. The strap goes out to about 135 cm.

Over the limit?

Please don't order it. Email us and we'll tell you straight rather than sell you something that won't do up.

Where to sit the panel

Centre it on the part of your back you want it on, then pull the strap firm. Snug beats tight: you want contact, not compression.

Advertised prices recorded on those sellers' own websites on 9 September 2026. We don't set their prices and they change, so check before you decide. We re-check this table on the first of every month and pull it down rather than let it go stale.

Pricing

Why there's no 'was' price on anything we sell.

Look at the table above

Nearly every price on it is advertised as a reduction from a bigger number. One knee massager lists the same single unit at $299.95 on one page of its own site and $219.95, 'reduced from $529.95', on another.

We've never charged one

$179 for the Knee, $149 for the Back, $249 for the Legs. That was the price last month and it'll be the price next month. There's nothing to reduce it from.

If we ever run a real sale

It'll have a real end date and we'll tell you why we're running it. No countdown stuck at zero, no 'only 3 left', no Easter sale still running in September.

Straight up

What you get, and what you don't.

Where it ships from

TORQ is Australian-owned and based on the Gold Coast. Our gear is made by our manufacturing partner in Asia and posted direct to you, free and tracked, anywhere we ship. That's a real part of why the Knee is $179 and not $349. Queensland is our returns address, not our warehouse, and we won't tell you otherwise.

If it's faulty

Send a photo or a short video and we send a replacement. There's nothing to post back and no postage for you to pay. Several brands in this category still make you pack the unit and post it overseas at your cost. We don't.

If you change your mind

30 days, unused and in its original packaging, posted back to our Queensland returns address at your cost, and we refund the product price. That's a weaker headline than the '90-day risk-free' you'll see elsewhere. It's also the whole policy, with nothing hidden underneath it.

FAQ

Questions people actually ask

Can I wear it while I'm driving?

It's cordless and it stops itself after 15 minutes, so yes in the passenger seat, or parked before you head off. Don't run it while you're operating machinery.

How big does the belt go?

The strap goes out to about 135 cm at the waist. Over that, email us before you order.

How hot is 55 °C really?

Properly hot to the touch. Start on 45 and work up. Don't sleep in it, don't use it over broken skin, and don't use it where you can't feel warmth normally.

Why can't I see the near-infrared light?

Because 850 nm is invisible to the human eye. The panel always looks dimmer than it's actually running. The red 660 nm LEDs are the ones you can see.

Can I wear it under a work shirt?

Yes, the panel is slim enough to sit flat. Over a thick jumper you'll feel less of the heat.

Do I need an app or a subscription?

No. No app, no account, no pairing, no subscription.

Where does it ship from and how long does it take?

Australian-owned, Gold Coast based, made by our manufacturing partner in Asia and posted direct to you. Free shipping worldwide, dispatched in 1–2 business days, usually 7–12 business days to metro addresses. Queensland is our returns address, not a warehouse.

Will this fix what's wrong with my back?

We're not going to answer that, because we're not allowed to and because we don't know. TORQ Back applies warmth, light and vibration to the area it straps to. It's not a medical device. If your back trouble is new, severe, or comes with numbness or weakness, see a doctor.

What if it arrives faulty, or I change my mind?

Faulty inside twelve months: photo or short video and we send a replacement, nothing to post back. Changed your mind: 30 days, unused and in its packaging, posted back to Queensland at your cost, and we refund the product price.

Proof

We're new, and we're not buying reviews.

No review count yet

TORQ launched in 2026. We haven't got ten thousand reviews and we're not going to buy, import or seed any. When real ones land we'll show them with the trade and the suburb attached.

No badges we haven't earned

No press logos, no 'FDA cleared', no 'TGA registered', no physio endorsement, no medical-grade anything. We hold none of those, so none of them are on this site.

What you get instead

Every number we know, the ones we're still measuring flagged as such, our competitors' prices printed next to ours, and an inbox that answers. Judge us on that until there's something better to judge us on.

J

Why TORQ exists

I'm James, Gold Coast. I started TORQ because the gear I wanted was either six hundred dollars with a brand name on it, or forty dollars with no idea who made it or whether the strap would even do up. So we picked hardware we'd use ourselves, put our name on it, wrote down every number on the page, and priced it once instead of marking it up four times for a shelf. If it turns up faulty you send me a photo and I send you another one. That's the whole pitch.
