TORQ makes recovery gear for people who work on their body for a living.
We're Australian-owned and based on the Gold Coast. We build three things: a cordless heat, light and massage wrap for knees, the same tech as a belt for the lower back, and full-leg air compression boots for legs that have done ten hours on concrete.
Why we exist
Every heated wrap sold to Australians falls into one of two piles. There's the no-name marketplace listing at sixty dollars with no warranty and nobody to email when it dies in a month. Then there's the three-hundred-dollar overseas funnel with a struck-out price the product never sold at, a countdown timer stuck at zero, and a subscription hiding at checkout that people only find on their next bank statement.
The hardware in both piles is largely the same. What changes is who stands behind it. We wanted a third option: honest price, real specs, a warranty that gets honoured on a photo instead of an argument, and a returns address in Queensland rather than a shipping label to somewhere you'll never see your parcel again.
Who we build for
Concreters, chippies, tilers and sparkies who spend the day on their knees. Nurses, hospo and warehouse crews who spend it on their feet. Truck and forklift drivers whose lower back seizes up by three in the afternoon. FIFO crews on long swings. And anyone over forty who still does a full day on their feet and knows which part of the evening they don't want to move for.
Every other brand in this category is selling to retirees on a sofa. Nobody was talking to the people whose bodies actually cop it at work. That's the gap we're built for.
How we do business
- The price is the price. No fake RRPs, no permanent 50% off, no countdown timers.
- No subscriptions, ever. You pay once and the thing is yours.
- We tell you where it ships from. Our gear is made in China to our spec and ships from our supplier's warehouse, tracked and free, worldwide. When we hold local stock we'll say so on the product page and not before.
- Faults are our problem, not yours. Send a photo or a short video and we replace it free, with nothing to post back.
- Returns come to Queensland. Not to an address overseas that swallows parcels.
What our gear is, and isn't
TORQ products are comfort and recovery devices. They apply warmth, light and movement to tired, tight, worked muscles and joints. They are not medical devices, they are not on the ARTG, and they do not treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you've got a diagnosed injury or ongoing pain, see your GP or physio and use TORQ between visits, not instead of them.
