Sizing & Fit

Getting the size right is the difference between something you use every night and something that sits in a drawer. It takes two minutes with a tape measure.

TORQ Knee

Measure around the middle of the kneecap with your leg slightly bent, standing up. Anything under 48 cm fits. There's a wide velcro range, so most people are comfortably inside it.

  • The same wrap fits an elbow or a shoulder up to the same 48 cm.
  • Works straight on skin or over thin work pants. Heavy canvas or double-knee pants will block most of the heat and all of the light.
  • If you're over 48 cm, email us before you order. We'd rather tell you it won't fit than take your money.

TORQ Back

Measure around your waist where you'd wear the belt, which is usually across the lower back just above the hips. The adjustable strap fits roughly 70 cm to 135 cm.

  • Centre the heated pad on the part of your back you want it on, then pull the strap firm. Snug beats tight: you want contact, not compression.
  • Slim enough to sit under a work shirt. Over a thick jumper you'll feel less of the heat.

TORQ Legs

One long size, which suits roughly 165 cm to 190 cm in height. Thigh circumference is generous.

  • Shorter than 165 cm and the top chamber sits high on the thigh. That's fine, you just get slightly less coverage at the hip.
  • Much taller than 190 cm and the boots will stop short of the top of the thigh.
  • Zip them on sitting down, with your legs out straight. Loose trackies underneath are more comfortable than bare skin for a long session.

Not sure?

Email us your measurement before you order and we'll tell you which one to get, or tell you that none of them will suit. A wrong-size return costs you postage and costs us a customer, so we'd both rather sort it out first.
