All three TORQ products work the same way: strap it on, press start, and it turns itself off. No app, no account, no pairing, nothing to update.
TORQ Knee and TORQ Back
- Charge it first. USB-C, from any phone charger. A full charge takes a couple of hours and lasts about six 15-minute sessions.
- Wrap it on. Velcro snug, straight on skin or over a thin layer. For the Knee, centre the pad over the kneecap. For the Back, centre it on the part of your back you want it on.
- Press power, then pick your settings. Start on the lowest heat (45 °C) for your first session and work up. Add the light, the massage, or both.
- Sit back for 15 minutes. It shuts itself off automatically. Most people do one session after work and, on a bad day, another before bed.
TORQ Legs
- Sit down first, legs out straight on the lounge or a bed.
- Zip the boots on over loose trackies or bare legs, and plug the unit into the wall.
- Start on the lowest mode. The top pressure setting is firmer than most people expect. Work up once you know what it feels like.
- Twenty minutes, then it stops on its own.
Getting the most out of it
- Consistency beats intensity. Fifteen minutes most days does more than an hour once a week.
- Timing: after the shift, before training, or on the couch at night. In the ute at knock-off is the one most people land on.
- Care: wipe the fabric with a damp cloth. Don't machine wash, don't submerge it, and don't charge it while you're wearing it.
When not to use it
Don't use the Knee or Back during pregnancy, with a pacemaker or implanted device, over open or broken skin, or where you have reduced feeling. Don't use the Legs if you have a blood clot or DVT, heart failure, open wounds, or you're pregnant. Don't sleep in any of them.
TORQ products are comfort and recovery devices. They are not medical devices and do not treat, cure or prevent any condition. If you have a diagnosed injury or ongoing pain, talk to your GP or physio.
